Over the years we have had many non stick casserole dishes. And even the solid cast iron ones eventually lose their non stick. And they of coarse are very heavy especially when they are full of something delicious. But these by Tower are aluminum which makes them a reasonable weight and they are incredibly robust. We have used these constantly over 6 months for casseroles, frying eggs, pancakes and a whole host of other stuff. They can be used on the hob or in the oven which makes them an excellent choice for everyday use. One proviso to be aware of is that the handles are part of the casting and get very hot.
